I met up that morning with Sam at the Outpost for a good ole' home cooked breakfast. Then sat down to talk with Sam about the Trans America Trail.
As I were getting ready to head back on the TAT. Sam offered
to take the lead on the Mississippi part of the trail. He shared some tips about the maps before we headed out.

I was able to ride shotgun with Sam as we wheeled the dirt roads of Mississippi. The terrain was not what I expected. I was looking to be driving through swampland. The Northern part of the state is mostly pine tree forests.
Later that afternoon we were able to meet up with another one of our YouTube Fans, Trish. She had been following me on YouTube for quite awhile and was thrilled to meet me. It's always surreal when people are excited to meet me.
I was her inspiration to work on her Jeep and do her own mods. When I hear that I inspire others it motivates me to keep pushing forward. There have been times during my whole Jeep adventure I feel like giving it all up. It's been hard not to have someone to share it with. But those times when my fans reach out to me it gives me the courage to push through.
After sharing Jeep stories it was time to get back on the road to get back up to St. Louis to pick up the Land Rover left earlier that week. Then it was on to Colorado. I was so excited to finally make it West.
