Jeep My New Grocery Getter

My Jeep is My Sanctuary

My Jeep make Errands fun

My Jeep Make Errands Fun

Before my Jeep I would hate to go grocery shopping or run errands. Now that I have my Jeep, I look forward to it. Everything just seems more fun when you are driving a Jeep! When I come walking out of the grocery store, and I see my Jeep, I get a big smile on my face and I say to myself, "Hey, that's my Jeep! Isn't it awesome!" Sometimes as I'm heading into the grocery store, I sneak a peek by turning around to get a look at my Jeep. I can never get enough peeks.  It looks so good sitting in the parking lot!

My Groceries Fit

Before my Jeep, I would have to take time to put down the back seats to fit all my groceries in the car. Sometimes that would be too much work, so I would just set the groceries on the back seat. Something inevitably would fall on the floor as I was driving. Well - not in my Jeep.  Everything fits in the back just fine, and I didn't even have to put any seats down.

Check out my post about must have Jeep Mom Jeep Accessories

Things definitely got a lot better with my Jeep, some things stay the same though. My boys still argue and bicker in the back seat.

The first day home from vacation is usually always difficult.  But, not when you are coming home to your Jeep after being gone for 8 days. I was relieved to see my Jeep sitting in the garage, where I left it, and was very excited to get back behind the wheel.

The first day back from a vacation for me is spent running errands, and today was no different. First, it was off to swim practice with my youngest.

Then to the vet. Our dog, Sterling, was crying all night. Turns out she has "swimmers ear", and she's not even on the swim team.

In the olden days, when I had a mini-van or my crossover, I was involved in many car pools for all the camps and practices. Well, with a Jeep it's a little more difficult to be a part of a car pool in our neighborhood. There are only 3 seatbelts in the Jeep's backseat, limiting the number of kids I could car pool.

Some mom's see this as a "con" in the list of "pros" and "cons". I actually see this as a very big "pro". Why?... you might ask...well... On those days when my youngest and I don't feel like heading to swim or basketball or soccer practice, we don't have too. We have no commitments to any car pools. So when the mood strikes us, and we want to play hookey from practice... we put down the top and head out for a drive.

I figure life is too short, it should be enjoyed. Sometimes you need to be spontaneous and have fun. My Jeep Wrangler Unlimited has helped me lighten up and relax. It's easy to enjoy life when you have a Jeep. My family and I love to take a drive with the top down and feel the wind in our face and sun on our skin. Looks like there will be a lot of "Playing Hookey" in our future!

Rugged Ridge Floor Mats

A Must-Have for Your Jeep Wrangler

Updated: March 29, 2025

If you're a Jeep owner who loves to hit the trails or drive in snowy weather, you know how quickly your floor can turn into a muddy, salty mess. One of the best investments I made early on for my Jeep Wrangler was a solid set of all-weather floor mats—specifically the Rugged Ridge All-Terrain Front and Rear Floor Liners in black.

Why I Recommend Rugged Ridge Floor Mats

After 10+ years of real-world use, I can confidently say these floor liners are a Jeep Momma must-have—especially for anyone dealing with snow, mud, or messy kids (hello spilled chocolate shakes 👋).

🛡️ Key Benefits:

  • Raised outer lip keeps snow, salt, mud, and spills contained.

  • Precision fit for Jeep Wrangler models.

  • Easy to clean: just remove and rinse with a garden hose.

  • Durable thermoplastic material stands up to heavy wear.

Whether you're coming back from the grocery store, a muddy trail ride, or the school pick-up line, these mats protect your Jeep’s interior with minimal effort.

Real-World Cleaning Test

One of my favorite things about these liners? Cleanup is a breeze.

Whether it's a spilled soda, chocolate shake, or trail grime—just pull the mat out and spray it down. No scrubbing required!

Jeep Momma Jeep Tip 💡

Did you know the rear cargo area floor mat in your Wrangler is carpeted on one side and vinyl on the other? Flip it over to the vinyl side for easier cleanup. WAHLAH! Instant protection.

The factory Jeep Liner floor mat can be flipped to a rubber side.

FAQs: Rugged Ridge Jeep Floor Mats

❓Are Rugged Ridge floor mats worth it?

Yes! If you’re serious about protecting your Jeep’s interior from water, mud, and other debris, Rugged Ridge mats are a rugged, reliable, and affordable solution.

❓Do these floor liners fit all Jeep Wranglers?

The Rugged Ridge All-Terrain Floor Liners are available for various Jeep Wrangler models, including JK, JL, and Gladiator. Just make sure to select the correct year and model when ordering.

❓How do you clean Rugged Ridge floor mats?

Cleaning is easy—just remove the mats from your Jeep and hose them down. For extra-sticky messes, a little car soap and a soft brush do the trick.

❓What makes them different from standard rubber mats?

Unlike basic rubber mats, Rugged Ridge liners have:

  • Raised edges to trap liquids

  • Chevron-shaped tread patterns for traction and channeling spills

  • Custom fit design tailored to your Jeep

❓Will they work with the factory carpet or vinyl floors?

Yes, they’re designed to work with both. The non-slip backing helps them stay in place regardless of your interior flooring.

Final Thoughts

Floor mats might not be the flashiest Jeep mod—but they’re one of the most essential. Rugged Ridge has earned its place in my Jeep for almost a decade, and they still look and perform like new.

If you're a Jeep mom, daily driver, or weekend wheeler, these are a smart, no-regret buy. 👌
