Jeep Destinations to Explore

Scenic Drives, Hidden Gems & Jeep Adventures Across America

One of the best parts of owning a Jeep is discovering places most people never see. Over the past 11+ years, I've explored scenic byways, rugged mountain passes, national parks, small towns, and off-road destinations across the United States all from behind the wheel of my Jeep Wrangler.

Whether you're planning a cross-country road trip, searching for your next off-road adventure, or simply looking for beautiful places to explore, this page brings together many of my favorite Jeep destinations.

Jeep Momma Tip

Don't focus only on famous trails.

Some of my favorite Jeep memories came from scenic backroads, quiet campsites, and little towns I found simply because I decided to take the road less traveled.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are the best places to take a Jeep?

Some of my favorites include Moab, the Colorado Rockies, the Black Hills of South Dakota, Wyoming, Arizona, and scenic byways throughout the western U.S.

Do I need a modified Jeep for these destinations?

Not always. Many scenic drives and public lands are accessible with a stock Jeep, while more technical trails may require additional capability.

How do I find lesser-known Jeep destinations?

Research scenic byways, national forests, BLM land, local Jeep clubs, and trail apps. Some of the best adventures are away from the busiest trails.

Are these destinations beginner friendly?

Many are. I try to share a mix of scenic drives, easy trails, and more challenging adventures so every Jeep owner can find something to enjoy.

What should I bring on a Jeep road trip?

Basic recovery gear, navigation tools, water, food, emergency supplies, and a camera. You'll want to remember these places.

Where can I find detailed trail guides?
