Top 5 "Must Have" Off-Road Recovery Gear - You Tube Video

60 Days of Reflection - Day 15 Look Back

When I first got into off-roading I was overwhelmed with all the information you needed to know, and overwhelmed with all the different products out there. I like how my Jeep Momma's Garage videos break it down into Top 5 Basics to get you started. This video's topic is Off Road Recovery Gear.

Jeep Top 5 Accessories & How To Jeep Badge of Honor - You Tube Video

60 Days of Reflection - Day 10, 11, 12 Look Back

After a weekend of off roading and posting those wheeling videos, I am playing catch up on my Days of Reflection. So here are 3 Days of Reflection wrapped into one.

Day 10:  I labeled this Top 5 Cool Jeep Wrangler Interior Accessories. However, I don't mention mine. It looks like I should share mine! This video has more views than my typical video which makes me wonder it my videos need to be longer.

Day 11: This video could have been made into 3 separate videos. The "How To" videos seem to be a big hit, and my delivery is getting much better. Practice makes perfect.

Day 12: Once again the lighting needs work. There is a lot of great information in this video for the Jeeper who is just starting out.

Jeep Wrangler Storage Tips - You Tube Video

60 Days of Reflection - Day 9 Look Back

Another collaboration video. This time with Nate SWBCrawler. Nate has so much great Jeep information in his head, and his information is so helpful to a Jeeper on a budget. Jeepers do love to see how other Jeepers are modding their Jeeps and how they deal with the storage.

This video is longer than most, but it's a highly viewed video. I wonder if I need longer than four minute videos?  Looks like this video needs some lighting and audio work while I'm recording in the garage.

Guy Jeep Accessories vs Gal Jeep Accessories - You Tube Video

60 Days of Reflection - Day 8 Look Back

This was my first collaboration video, guy suggested accessories and gal suggested accessories. I asked CPO from O3DJeeps for his suggestions. This was a fun video to make.

My lighting needs some work, which I have purchased lights to help me out in the garage. Plus, the graphics I used where so 1980's

Top 5 Jeep Wrangler Hacks / Tip - You Tube Video

60 Days of Reflection - Day 7 Look Back

Ugh... This is when I had a bad haircut! After 16 years with my hairdresser she really butchered my hair. Okay, yeah... back to Jeeps.

This was a good video sharing the Jeep Hacks I first learned when I bought my Jeep. I like how I was conversational in the Cool Jeep Tips part of the video.

60 Days of Reflection - Day 6 Look Back

Today's V-log "Look Back" was a good one to reflect upon. Even though I still need to work on my delivery, this story is a significant story to share. It helped remind me the importance of passing on my knowledge and experience to others, to give back and help others get on the right path to many successful off road adventures.

I feel very passionate about the importance of proper training before you take your Jeep off road. In this V-log I shared the steps I took to get where I am at in my off-road wheeling life. I took many training classes through out this off-road adventure. It all began with Off-Road Consulting
which is located in Pennsylvania. I have also had some off-road and recovery classes with NorthEast Off-Road Adventures out of New York. Jeep Momma Blog Post - Recovery Class

Declutter Help

We focus too much of our lives on having stuff, and not enough time on experiences. You can't take that stuff with you when you die, but you can sure have many great experiences while you are still living.

Experiences is now the focus of my life. I have spent the past five or so years decluttering my life while at the same time finding a balance of experiencing life. I have come to a point where the experiences are out weighing the stuff.

Some of my friends have been asking me to help them Declutter, so I thought I would share some links I found that are helpful, and a good start to begin on a path of living your best life.

Here are some good links:

Top 5 Color Accent Jeep Accessories - You Tube Video

60 Days of Reflection - Day 5 Look Back

I am still using those silly music "blips". I really like doing the vendor Shout Outs. I may have to thinking about doing that on a monthly basis.

I am constantly being asked where I bought my purple Jeep Accessories. Sadly, that isn't a color that sells so I have to use spray paint for most of my accessories. However, it is super easy to do. I am always on the look out for easy ways to add color accessories to my Jeep. I may have to do a Top 10 Ways to Add Color to your Jeep.

Cool Jeep Fashion & Airing Down for Off Roading - You Tube Video

60 Days of Reflection - Day 4 Look Back

Watching my first few videos has given me ideas for futures videos which is a good thing. I also see myself improving on my delivery. However my scripted "funny bits" are still kind of corny.

I do feel like there is some good information in here for the Jeeper who is just starting out. I know when I started out I could of benefited from this information.

Top 5 Off Road Tips - You Tube Video

60 Days of Reflection - Day 3 Look Back

Another day of reflection...

I really liked this video and the topics I picked. Once again I feel I should stick to one topic per video as it gets confusing. My one focus should have been the Top 5 Tips. Later on down the road, I actually did just stick with only the Top 5 tips on various topics.  I'm not so sure about the playing the music through out the whole video. I do like how I featured the Woman's Wheeling Day event and a vendor.

Transfer Case Shifter Knob Install - You Tube Video

60 Days of Reflection - Day 2 Look Back

My Reflections on my second Jeep Momma's Garage Vlog.
A couple of things stick out...

  • Stop throwing it out to myself in the garage from the studio. It's a little lame.
  • There seem to be too many topics. It seemed like a good idea at the time. I still like the idea, but maybe it would work better as a podcast type platform.

The transfer knob shifter knob install video was one of my favorite videos to record. It was a family affair. I had to get my youngest son to help out with the video recording as I needed two hands to try and yank that darn shifter knob off. Then when I couldn't get it off I enlisted in my husbands help.

The Griffen Extreme Steering - You Tube Video

60 Days of Reflection - Day 1 Look Back

It wasn't until I inched closer to the big 5-0 that I started to evaluate my life. In the past five years there has been an monumental amount of reflection in myself, my family, and my personal relationships.

So much of it very painful, but necessary for me to grow, to be a better person, not just for the people around me but for myself.

Reflection is a necessary part of life for positive growth. Reflecting back on the past helps you to refine and adjust so you can improve and set new goals.

Sunday's YouTube Vlog will be a Cringe-y Critique of my first video. It is now time for me to reflect, to improve, and provide meaningful YouTube content for you!

Episode 1 of Jeep Momma's Garage.

It's been over a year since I first started my Vlog - Jeep Momma's Garage. The original idea was to create a mini-Jeep newscast of sorts which wasn't working for me. Over the months Jeep Momma's Garage has morphed into a new direction.

Months into my uploads, I began getting several comments of thanks and appreciation for sharing what I learned while being a new Jeep owner. Now my focus is on how to help the new Jeep Owner in an understandable way for someone new to Jeeps.

The next 60 days I will be sharing each video as a time to look back and reflect, finding ways to make my videos better, what worked, what didn't work. I'd love to hear your thoughts on each video as well.
