Wranglers have room for camping gear.
They just don't have unlimited room.
Anyone who has packed a Jeep for a camping trip knows how quickly that cargo space disappears.
You start out thinking you have plenty of room.
Then the cooler goes in.
Then the chairs. Sleeping gear. Food. Water. Recovery gear.
And suddenly you're rearranging everything like a giant game of Tetris.
That's one reason I've become a fan of camping gear that serves its purpose without taking over the Jeep.

Stainless Steel Camping Cookware: What I Like
The BeGrit cookware is stainless steel.
For Jeep camping, I like the durability of stainless steel.
I don't have to be quite as worried about scratching a non-stick coating when the cookware is packed with the rest of my gear.
There is a tradeoff, though.
If you're used to non-stick pans at home, stainless steel takes a little more attention.
Keep an eye on your cooking temperature and use some oil or butter when necessary because food can stick.
That's not necessarily a negative for me. It's just something to know before you head to camp.
The Folding Handles Save Space
The handles fold against the cookware when you're not using it.
That's another reason everything packs down so small.
One thing I would keep in mind is that these are metal handles.
Metal and heat obviously aren't a great combination for bare hands.
I would keep a camp towel, potholder or heat-resistant glove nearby when cooking.
It's one of those little things that's easy to forget until you're standing there wondering how you're going to pick up your hot pan.

You don't need elaborate meals to have good food at camp.

What I Don't Like
No product is perfect, and I don't think a review is very useful if I only tell you the good things.
The biggest limitation with this set is size.
The frying pan is small.
If you're trying to make breakfast for four people at the same time, you're probably going to get frustrated pretty quickly.
This is not the cookware set I would choose for feeding a big family or an entire group around the campfire.
I think it's better suited to a solo camper, a couple, or anyone who keeps camp meals fairly simple.
And because it's stainless steel, you also have to be more aware of your cooking temperature than you would with a typical non-stick pan.
Neither of those things would keep me from using it.
They're just things I would want to know before buying it.
Is This a Good Camping Cookware Set for Beginners?
I think this is actually where a set like this makes a lot of sense.
If you're new to Jeep camping, you may be looking at everyone else's setup and thinking you need to buy a mountain of gear before you can go.
You don't.
Start with what you actually need.
Go camping.
See what works for you.
Then add things as you go.
You may eventually decide you want a full camp kitchen.
You might decide you love cooking elaborate meals at camp.
Or you may discover that a small cookware set and a simple stove are all you really need.
There isn't one correct way to camp.
Do You Need Expensive Gear to Go Jeep Camping?
Definitely not.
This is something I wish more people talked about.
Social media can make camping and overlanding look like you need thousands of dollars worth of equipment before you can leave the pavement.
You don't.
Good gear can absolutely make camping more comfortable.
There are also things I won't skimp on, especially when it comes to safety and recovery gear.
But your cookware doesn't need to be fancy for you to sit next to your Jeep, make dinner and enjoy a beautiful campsite.
Sometimes I think we make camping much more complicated than it needs to be.
